How Time Estimates Work
Time Commitment Estimates show the total hours you'll invest in a gig — not just the performance itself, but prep, driving, setup, and pack-up.

- Set your home address in Dashboard → Settings → W-9 Profile (or Mileage settings)
- Enter a valid venue address in the contract
- Specify start and end times
How Traffic Predictions Work
Estimates use Google Maps Distance Matrix API with your actual gig date and arrival time to predict traffic patterns for that specific day and time.
Two departure times are shown:
- Safe time (earlier): 1.5× baseline duration for worst-case traffic
- Expected time (later): Google's actual traffic prediction
Common Questions
- Why isn't it calculating? — Check that the venue address is valid and your home address is set
- Can I see round-trip miles? — Yes, toggle in the mileage settings
- Is this only for Pro? — Mileage tracking requires Annual Pro; basic time estimates are available to all users
