Dashboard Theme Customization

Customize the look of your dashboard with accent color themes, custom palettes, text size, background images, and appearance mode.

Accessing Themes

Open the theme picker from the sidebar dot icon, or go to Dashboard > Settings > Preferences.

Theme Options

GigOrganizer offers 11 preset themes:

• 5 free themes — Available to all users
• 6 Pro themes — Exclusive accent palettes for Pro subscribers

Each theme changes the accent colors across your dashboard — sidebar, buttons, highlights, and cards.

Custom Palette Designer (Pro)

Create your own color palette beyond the 11 presets:

1. Go to Preferences and find the Custom Palette section
2. Pick a primary accent color from the preset swatches, or choose any color
3. Optionally set a secondary/gold accent color
4. The system auto-generates a full 11-color theme (light and dark variants)
5. Fine-tune individual colors with the "Color Tweaks" expander
6. Your custom palette auto-saves as you adjust

The designer includes WCAG contrast ratio warnings to ensure your text remains readable.

Text Size

Adjust font size separately for desktop and mobile:

1. Go to Preferences
2. Choose from Small, Default, Large, or Extra Large — independently for desktop and mobile
3. Changes apply instantly across your dashboard

Background Image (Pro)

Upload a background image for your dashboard:

1. Go to Preferences
2. Drag and drop an image (JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 2 MB)
3. Adjust the opacity slider to blend with your theme
4. Remove or change the image anytime

Appearance Mode

Choose how your dashboard looks:

• System — Follows your device's light/dark preference
• Light — Always light background
• Dark — Always dark background

How It Works

1. Select a theme swatch from the grid
2. Colors apply instantly with a live preview
3. Your selection auto-saves to your account
4. Use "Reset to Default" to return to the Warm Slate brand theme

Quick Picker

In the sidebar, click the colored dot next to "Theme" to open a quick picker popover without navigating away from your current page.

Common Questions

Do themes affect my contracts or client-facing pages?

Your theme applies across your dashboard, gig management pages, and purchase pages. The client portal can also inherit your chosen theme. Contracts and invoices use the standard GigOrganizer branding.

Can I create a custom theme?

Yes! Pro subscribers can use the Custom Palette Designer to create their own color palette. Go to Preferences and scroll to the Custom Palette section.
