GigOrganizer helps performers get paid professionally. Here's how to get started in under 5 minutes.

The Gig Lifecycle

  1. Create a Contract — Use the wizard to build a professional performance agreement
  2. Send for Signatures — Client signs first, then you sign (1 GigPack consumed when sent — Buy GigPacks)
  3. Track Payments — Mark deposits and balances as paid when you receive money
  4. Generate Documents — Download invoices, receipts, and signed contracts
  5. Manage Your Team — Add team members, send calendar invites, coordinate logistics
  6. End of Year — Use Tax Center to file 1099s for team members paid $600+

Your First 5 Minutes

1. Create your account

Sign up with Google, Apple, or a magic link email. No credit card required.

2. Set up your profile

Head to your Dashboard and configure:

  • Payment & Contact — Add your Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle handle so invoices include payment links
  • W-9 Profile — Enter your tax info for sending W-9s to clients (your SSN is never stored on our servers)

3. Create your first contract

Click "New Gig Contract" and choose your performer type (Musician, DJ, Comedian, Magician, Kids Entertainer, or Circus/Aerialist). Select an event type preset to pre-fill standard terms, then customize the details.

4. Send for e-signature

After purchasing or using a GigPack, click "Send for E-Signature." Your client receives an email to sign first, then you sign via an embedded signing page.

5. Get paid

When you receive payment (via Venmo, check, cash, etc.), mark the deposit and balance as paid on the purchase page. Send invoices and receipts directly to your client.

Key Concepts

  • GigPacks — Each e-signature uses 1 GigPack (consumed when you click "Send")
  • Pro vs Free — Pro unlocks templates, autofill, advanced clauses, and more
  • Tracking Only — GigOrganizer tracks payments; we never process your money
  • Single Signer — Currently supports one client signer per contract
